About This File

This the excellent collection by member BS2001 of European Airport Objects and European Road Objects, (approx 85 objects) but this time in a Library format. BS2001 has kindly given me permission to upload this library. Tested in Overlay Editor and all OK. Some excellent objects to be placed around your sceneries. You can modify the advertisement objects to suit yourself, using Gimp, Adobe Paintshop or similar picture editor. "Free to use or to modify models and texture maps in any free scenery add-on for X-Plane, but you may not sell or redistribute this pack or derivatives."

Remember, if you use this library in sceneries that you publish, then the users of that scenery must have the library also, otherwise they will receive error messages.

Enjoy.

UPDATE 10th August 2015 : BedaNo1 alerted me to an issue with the following object : "acf_stairs-big" which which was manifesting itself in showing objects which were actually behind the stairs in front of the stairs. I found a line in the object file which was different from the other stairs objects, ie "ATTR_poly_os 1.000000". I am not an expert on object files, but I deleted this line and problem was corrected. So here is the library with the updated stairs object.
BS2001 has given me the go ahead to modify the library, and if you have the objects seperately, I suggest you check out the "acf_stairs-big" object and either replace it with the one from this library, or edit the object file as described above. .

What's New in Version 1.2

For those who doesn't know how to install it:

Put the folder "BS2001 Object Library" which includes subfolder "BS2001_Objects" and file "library.txt" into your "~/X-PLane 11/Custom Scenery" folder ("~/" means your installation path).

For example: "D:\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\BS2001 Object Library"

Make sure to add the following line in your "scenery_packs.ini" in your "Custom Scenery" folder:

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/BS2001 Object Library/

I keep getting a message that the BS2001 is not installed. I put in the X-plane 11 custom scenery folder. Please give us the correct path on the install instructions. I am new to X-Plane.

Either I'm not doing this right, or I can't get it to find any objects.
Specifically, I'm trying to load the LIML airport package, and the log text shows it's not finding objects that ARE in the BS2001 folder.

Can someone suggest what I'm doing wrong, or at least tell me they've managed to get the latest OpenSceneryX to work with the LIML package?

KMSP scenery repeats that BS2001 is not installed.  I have installed the latest version 3 times.  Perhaps the scenery does not recognize the new version of BS2001?  I do not see any ill effect without BS2001, however.

Thanks for your effort in creating this!

I do still get a pop up that says the library either doesn't exist, or needs to be updated. Have I perhaps missed a more recent update that exists somewhere?

I am sure this is a good addon library of objects, but there is a problem with this library for the  WSSS Singapore addon (latest version on this site). I have this latest version of bs2001 downloaded into XP11 Custom Scenery folder. I will attach the LOG file so you can see what is happening. I get error message when XP 11tries to load this airport because there is something wrong with three of the objects. The log file says they were not found, but in checking my bs2001 library, they are there! So I suppose this means there is something wrong with these three objects, and its actually that XP can't load them?
